Scope of Role
The Media Finance Specialist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a multinational client account, covering finance coordination, budgeting, and operational requirements. The role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams across six different markets in the region, working with internal stakeholders, global counterparts, and external partners.
Reporting Structure
- Report on a day-to-day basis to an Associate Director and Senior Finance Specialist
- Work closely with finance, media planning, and buying teams across multiple markets
- Coordinate with global teams, local clients, and creative agency partners
- The Associate Director will oversee workload, performance, and professional development
Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Act as liaison between performance, finance, buying teams, and the client to ensure all finance deliverables are completed accurately and on time
- Track finance-related tasks and send weekly reminders to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy of actualization and media plan details
- Support resolution of finance and invoicing-related concerns
Budgeting
- Coordinate with planning teams and creative agencies to update budgets across markets
- Prepare and submit weekly budget reports to the client
- Address and resolve budgeting-related issues
Operational Requirements
- Conduct detailed checking of media plans and submit weekly reports to the global team
- Ensure accuracy of estimates and respond to team inquiries
- Create and manage third-party funding plans for campaign execution
- Create and manage plan numbers
- Coordinate proof of delivery submissions on a quarterly basis
- Support onboarding and system registration of new media vendors
- Monitor annual rebates and ensure proper application across plans and budgets
- Handle ad hoc budget requests
- Update and communicate monthly FX rates to all teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with at least one year of relevant experience in media, finance, or accounting
- Strong attention to detail and highly process-driven
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong desire for accuracy and quality
- Independent and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams and cultures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
