Scope of Role
As a Media Planner, you will be responsible for digital strategy, planning, and execution for a high-profile client account. You will play a key role in delivering best-in-class digital campaigns and supporting innovation across media channels.
This position sits at the core of the digital team and contributes directly to campaign performance, client servicing, and overall account success.
Reporting Structure
- Report directly to the Digital Manager, with day-to-day guidance from the Digital Director
- Expected to manage your own workload and coordinate with internal specialist teams
Key Responsibilities
Digital Planning and Execution
- Create comprehensive digital media plans aligned with client objectives
- Execute campaigns with strong quality control and attention to detail
- Ensure all media goals and strategies are delivered within approved budgets
- Develop insightful reports with clear recommendations
- Identify and implement innovative digital initiatives
- Actively contribute to the internal digital community
Client Management
- Provide consultation on digital strategy and planning
- Serve as a key client contact from planning through reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners
Campaign Development
- Work with planning teams to create clear and effective communication plans
- Assess digital media options and recommend optimal solutions
- Conduct research to address media briefs effectively
- Define measurable KPIs and complete campaign tracking requirements
Performance Optimization
- Lead execution across SEM, social, and programmatic campaigns
- Implement daily, weekly, and monthly optimizations
- Monitor performance and propose improvements
Reporting and Operations
- Prepare detailed campaign performance summaries
- Ensure timely delivery of all reporting and documentation
- Manage internal finance processes related to campaigns
Quality Standards
- Maintain high standards for all client deliverables
- Contribute to innovative, high-quality work

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant media experience with a solid understanding of the digital ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, SA360, Facebook Ads, and Programmatic DSPs
- Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail and analytical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in interacting with clients and stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
